A total Eclipse

MarketingBalloon Will Literally Miss an Eclipse for You

the other day, the world stopped.

Well… sort of.

There was an eclipse happening, and suddenly EVERYONE became an amateur astronomer.

Safety glasses? Bought.
Phones? Charged.
Timelines? Cleared.
People who couldn’t normally find the moon in the sky? Suddenly experts.

And me?

Oh, I was READY.

I knew it was happening. I knew roughly when it was happening. I had mentally prepared myself for this once-in-a-lifetime-ish moment.

Then I went into the office.

And started working.

I got deep into a client’s project. Proper work mode. Head down. Brain switched on. Probably arguing with a heading somewhere on a website.

At one point, I actually looked outside.

“That’s strange… it’s gone a bit dark.”

AND CARRIED ON WORKING.

I MISSED THE BLOODY ECLIPSE.

Damn it.
Damn it.
DAMN IT.

Then, naturally, about 1,000 statuses appeared showing everyone else’s spectacular eclipse experience.

Photos. Videos. “What an incredible moment.”
People looking emotionally connected to the universe.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting there thinking:

“I could have been looking at the moon.”

But here’s the point of this slightly ridiculous story.

Whilst I was disappointed that I missed approximately one minute of the universe doing something spectacular, I was also reminded that I was completely absorbed in finishing something for someone else.

Not to brag…

…but MarketingBalloon.co.uk will genuinely miss an eclipse for you.

We’re that committed.

Your website? We’ll be there.
Your marketing? We’ll be there.
Your campaign? We’ll be there.
The moon blocking the sun?

Apparently we’ll miss that too.

So, if your business needs someone who gets properly stuck into the job, turn around every now and then and come to us.

Because we need you now.

Forever.

And yes…

I know exactly what I’ve just done.

Turn around every now and then…

You’re welcome.

How can we make your day better?

Even if it means missing an eclipse.
